I am finally home after six weeks of traveling the United States and receiving instructions from the Lord.
I’ve found that sometimes it’s good to step outside of our everyday lives and look back to see our lives and ministries more clearly. This was no exception.
The Trip
After caring for Olga for eleven months, her son paid for my trip to the United States so that I could carry her ashes back to her family. Through that, God opened doors that I could never have imagined.
I must tell you about the most amazing miracle that happened! It’s one of many messages I received from God, but it is certainly the most outstanding one!
Several months ago, I saw a woman (Kim Robinson) on Elijah Streams. She excitedly talked about how Jesus had spoken to her in a vision from Moravian Falls Prayer Mountain, and He said, “Come up here. I want to talk to you.”
Bells and whistles went off inside of me because eighteen years ago, shortly before we came to Panama, I saw Jesus in a vision, and He said exactly those same words! When I asked Him how that would be possible, He replied that He would provide for it.
And so we came to Panama, and I forgot all about it.
But when I heard Kim say that, I knew that my time had come, and I needed to go to Moravian Falls Prayer Mountain in North Carolina.
It was after Olga died and her sons asked me to bring her ashes to the States that it all began to fall into place.
I carried Olga’s ashes in my suitcase to Santa Fe, where my sister and I went through the crazy loopholes that allowed me to mail them to her brother in California.
From there, a friend offered to pick me up at my sister’s home and take me to Moravian Falls. And so, we began a 5,000+ mile trip that began in Santa Fe, and ended up getting on a plane in Las Vegas, Nevada, four weeks later.
Back to Moravian Falls…
The background story…the Moravians had a one-hundred year prayer meeting in Germany, started the missions movement by selling themselves as slaves to spread the Gospel around the world, and some of them moved to North Carolina and founded Moravian Falls. The prayer and worship has been intense for decades, and many go there to rent cabins and write books, and others have moved their ministries there because it has become such a thin veil between heaven and earth. Amazing!
Once we arrived at the top of the mountain ridge, my friend went to sit in one of the meditation outlooks, and I kept walking straight forward on the path. I walked, and I walked, and I couldn’t stop! I felt like I needed to keep going while the surrounding atmosphere got thicker and thicker. I could feel the weighty presence of the Lord.
As I kept moving forward on the path, I saw a woman walking towards me…and it was Kim Robinson! She was the person I saw on Elijah Streams and the reason that I was there!
When I told her I had gotten on a plane and come from the country of Panama because of what she said on the program, she told me her side of the story.
She had completed giving a conference that weekend and asked the Lord what to do that morning. He said to go to the top of Moravian Falls Prayer Mountain. So she arrived, walked farther and farther down the path, and she said she felt like something kept pushing her forward on the path.
Finally, she sat in a chair alongside the path, stopped, waited, listened…and heard nothing. But then she felt like she had to get up and walk back…and that is when we came face to face.
What an amazing and fun God that we serve! 🙂
And what a glorious gift to me!
When I asked, “What on earth is God saying in this?” She answered that He was saying that I was walking in His perfect timing and that I was indeed hearing Him correctly.
I cannot tell you what a confirmation this was! I will look at this incident for years to come and remember what He showed me. So many times I wonder if I’ve heard Him correctly…but this has erased all my doubts.
Isn’t that just gloriously amazing and wonderful?
Later, I sat in a chair and listened for instructions for Panama.
It has become clear that I am to open another prayer room. I opened one about ten years ago, and the crime went down, and we had years of peace here…until 2020. Ever since then, crime, aids, prostitution, depression, and suicides have been on the rise.
It’s time to turn it around. The only way to do that is for the Body of Christ to get out of the walls of the churches and come together to pray for our town.
The price to rent a space here is $500 a month, with a $500 deposit.
If any of you would like to help with the monthly support of a prayer room on the main street of our town so that we can bring the body of Christ together to change the atmosphere and culture of this town…please let me know.
I fully expect the Lord to fund this, but it may come through some of you!
The Ark!
As you can imagine, the Ark is huge—three stories high—and the research teams have brought out every detail. We spent an hour in a scientific lecture discussing how Noah could have fit all those animals in there! Two hints: they were young animals and were “kinds” not species. If you’re ever around Kentucky, you really should try to go!
Oh yes…it was raining when we entered the Ark! Perfect timing! 🙂
Back at the Mission House…
While I was off praying around the United States and having a wonderful time, the ministry continued in Panama with our team. They are always on the lookout for hungry new souls or ways to help people. That’s become a way of life around here. 🙂
Erick went to the rescue of a friend and pastor of a small, very poor church in David. (the hour-away city at the bottom of our mountain) He had walked across the hot sand at the beach and severely burned both of his feet!
Eric took him to a doctor, and stocked his refrigerator with food….because there was nothing in his house. We buy his gas when he needs it and try to support him as much as we can. He has a devoted little flock who loves Jesus, and whenever we go down to his house church, they all come to share their rice and beans.
Last week, he brought several of the youth and leaders from his group to our Spanish home group to share a meal with us and talk about the Lord. I love it when he comes with his wife and friends because they always leave visibly touched by the Lord. It’s so encouraging for all of us!
A New Roof!
I mentioned in a past newsletter, that we had a section of plastic roof on our back porch that was leaking badly, and made it too hot to use in the day when the sun was out…
Because of a wonderfully generous donor who visited us, we now have a new roof on our back porch! And it has come just in time, as the torrential rains have begun.
So, we praise God that we can hold meetings on our back porch, and it won’t rain on us! 🙂
The Website
I’ve touched base with a terrific Christian couple here, whom I’ve known for years. They have an internet marketing business, and they’re going to work on my website, so the links work!
If anyone has tried to subscribe or contact me through the webpage, it has never traced its way back to me…so hopefully, I’ll be able to reach more people with the good news that they are loved by God!
They’ll also add my latest book to the website, which was published on Amazon. It is a compilation of letters my mother and father wrote back and forth during World War Two. I have sixty-nine, mostly five-star reviews, and I’m believing for one hundred!
Although I have stepped outside of my Christian genre for this one, I believe it has the potential to become an income for our ministry. I’ll post the link to Amazon here, and if you would like to read it and leave a review, that would be wonderful! The reviews run the algorithms, so it is an author’s life-blood for their books. 🙂
Reading all the reviews has made me cry more than once. People call it a love story, and others say that they have never been so in touch with history and what it was really like in the trenches of Italy or the shores of Miami during the war. It’s touching to see that Mama and Daddy have touched so many lives long after they left this earth!

Alberto’s Music Outreach
Alberto’s music group continues to expand.
More of our town’s youth are beginning to come, and some of them are severely depressed. It’s so sad that these beautiful young people are so tortured by the enemy. I think it started in 2020, when they were locked away and isolated, and then lived with masks for another year or two after that.
We have two who just come to listen because they say it’s their refuge, and they can find peace here. They come with their music-making friends, but they just sit on the side and listen. Slowly, they are coming to Alberto, and he is telling them about the Lord, and they are listening.
So many young people have had church shoved down their throats, so they run when you mention God. People who mean well, but don’t use wisdom or bring His love to them, can drive them away instead of to our Lord.
They’ve felt condemned by the church in the past, and their shame is sometimes palpable. But these young people are listening tentatively, and they keep coming back for another spoonful of love from all of us. It’s so sweet to watch the Holy Spirit woo them.
Here’s half of the Spanish group…they didn’t all get into the picture. We seem to have new people all the time.
Thank you for all of your love and support! With your help, we’ve been able to help so many people…not only physically, but spiritually.
We WILL see revival come to our little town! As I hear of the masses coming to Christ around the world and young people being baptized in the backs of pickup trucks in parking lots, I am believing for it here!
“Let the fire fall, let the fire fall.” I’m expecting that one day it will! 🙂
The Outcome from the May 5th Elections!
Something amazing happened! But also a terrible discovery…
The Good News:
A man won the Presidential election who no one thought would win!
1. He is a conservative who stands for biblical morals and values.
2. He has made closing the roads in protest illegal (they crippled the nation and left many without food in their homes last time).
3. He has said there would be no more mining, although we have to keep the one working mine open and running for now. The former administration signed a contract and received huge amounts of money to operate the mine here…and then they left with the money. Because the country doesn’t have the money to pay them back, they have to be allowed to keep running the mine. But at least they can’t expand!
There were other good things that I can’t remember right now.
Our own local government has a complete turnover, and the corrupt ones are gone. The mayor has been very helpful for the people in his other positions, and the Vice Mayor has come from the outside and has never been in politics before.
The Bad News:
The outgoing administration stole most of the money, and Panama only has $500-million to run the entire country. The new president said that the rest of the year will be very difficult as he fires all those on the government payroll that have done nothing – but that will put them out into the country without work or incomes. And that is already bad.
And there is no money for social security, which isn’t much but it helps the elderly to eat something.
Sooooo….please pray for the economy of the country and wisdom for the president!!!!
Things are looking up for the president we have now. But he inherited a mess. Thank you for your prayers…they worked for the elections! 🙂
In Conclusion…
God’s miracles continue to amaze us. Whenever we need anything, the provision appears. We continue to shake our heads at the obvious miracles around us.
Thank you for your support, because often it’s your financial help that becomes the miracle!
But the MOST important…Please keep us in your prayers!
Please pray aloud and engage your heart and mind; we can all pray in agreement! (it’s pretty much the same prayer as last time, but it covers it all!)
Father, we worship and adore You. We thank You for Your love and protection over all our lives.
Lord, we want to lift up Amanda and the mission that You have called her to. We ask You to send Your angels of protection over everyone who works with her.
We thank You for being so faithful and providing them with every resource they need. We thank You for meeting the needs of so many people you bring to them. You are meeting every need according to Your riches in glory!
Let them continue to work together in harmony, love, discernment, and humility. Give them a boldness to witness to those around them, and bless them all with Your favor, blessings, grace, and mercy.
Let Your presence become their consuming passion. Let their love for You grow deeper and deeper. Let their foundation be Jesus, and none other.
Let the mission house become a beacon of hope to the lost. Bring them in from the north, south, east, and west. And we ask You to post Your angelic hosts around each of them and the property so that no demon in hell can touch them.
We thank You for signs, wonders, and miracles to break out in their town and bring the revival that You want to see there. Send a blanket of the Fear of God over everything and everyone.
Give them discernment and strategies to bring about the Prayer Room and Miracle Cafe… in Your timing. Thank You for sending the people You have to help them build Your ministry, and the provision to make it happen.
Supernaturally protect Amanda, Soraya, Toto, Alberto, and Erick. We declare that no weapon formed against them can prosper, and we cancel every evil assignment off them.
We pray for Panama and thank You for assigning righteous rulers to create a new government. We ask You to give financial wisdom to the leaders, and help the country to prosper. Panama is called the Heart and Gateway of the World. We ask You to make it a pure heart and a righteous gateway!
In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
